Delete your LocatAlert account

In the app

1. Open LocatAlert and go to the You tab.

2. Tap Delete account.

3. Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again to verify it's you.

This deletes your sign-in account and starts backend cleanup of the records listed below. Cleanup runs separately and may need to retry after a service failure, so it is not necessarily immediate. Deleting your account cannot be undone.

By email

If you can no longer access the app, email support@locatalert.com from the address linked to your account. We will process your account deletion within 30 days. The retained records and service-provider records described below are handled separately.

What is deleted

Sign-in account and profile (name, email, account identifier and profile photo URL)
Saved places and alerts
Requests, messages and friend invitations
Invite links and reports you submitted
App installation records and push notification tokens stored under your account

Reports submitted by other users about your account, and records of content our filter removed, are retained for moderation. Service providers may retain operational, security or purchase records under their own policies; account deletion does not guarantee immediate removal of every provider record.
