LocatAlert ("the app") is a location-based alarm app operated by Acefina LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
The app reads your device location while you use maps and, if you grant background location, while an armed location alarm is watching for arrival or departure. Distance checks run on your device against the places and radii you saved. Your live GPS stream is not uploaded, stored on our servers, sold, or shared with anyone.
If you approve a friend or family request, your device may write lightweight follow-through status for that request, such as when the request was last being tracked or when the geofence fired. It does not upload your continuous live location.
The app uses Google Firebase (authentication, database, Cloud Functions and push notifications), Google Maps (map display), and RevenueCat (subscription management). See Google's privacy policy and RevenueCat's privacy policy for those services.
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app, or see how to request deletion. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase your data. Contact us to exercise them.
